Wobbling Down the Bunny Trail

Happy Sunday! Today I am sharing with you a fun little Easter card I made. I was browsing Pinterest (no surprise there) for some inspiration and came across multiple variations of a cute little bunny butt hanging out of a hole. I decided to try and put my spin on that type of card and this is what I came up with.

My bunny was made simply out of circles and ovals manipulated into a fun bunny shape. His little tail is made from a star and the base is a simple square. Using Cricut Design Space made designing this card a breeze. I did an image search for Easter and found a "Happy Easter" that I thought fit well
and threw that on as well. I synced up my colors to save materials (love this setting) and cut away.

Once my pieces were all cut, I embossed my square base to look like a tree. I got the folder for only a couple of bucks on consumer crafts and LOVE it! The bunny was assembled with pop dots to give him dimension and then placed into his hole using an action wobble. This is my first time using these and I have no idea why I waited to long. I love how they make the card have that extra bit of fun.

If you would like to use this file for a card of your own, I shared my project in Design Space. I hope this link works, if not just let me know and I will try to figure out how to share it. Learning new technology is always fun! Click here for the design space file!

Have a wonderful week!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here is a fun little leprechaun card I made for St. Patrick's Day. My little leprechaun was an SVG freebie I snagged and the rest are Cricut cuts. This was my first time cutting and SVG and it was surprisingly easy with Design Space and the Explore. I seriously cannot get enough of this machine!! I selected the card base canvas and created on there. That's one of my favorite aspects of the explore, the ability to select a canvas and not be limited to designing on a square. It really helps me figure out where to place things and line everything up just how I want.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!!

Helloooo Handsome!

Nick and I partook in completely redoing our master bedroom. We painted the walls, updated light fixtures, changed window treatments and got a brand new bedroom set. Now that the remodel is done, I had to add some art to give it the Gina flair. I saw some pillows on Pinterest that had the sayings, hello there handsome and good morning gorgeous and absolutely loved them. Now I am clueless when it comes to sewing so I decided to turn that pillow into a canvas to put above our night stands!

Assembly was easy with my new Cricut Explore. I simply picked out the font I wanted and typed it out on a 12x12 canvas. I added a mustache on Nick's because, well, I really just wanted a reason to use the cut, and hearts for mine. I  made the striping effect with washi tape and cut the phrases out with black vinyl. I am so happy with how they came out! Thanks for taking a look!

March Madness

This post is a little delayed, but here is my March Dry Erase Calendar. March means two things in our household, St. Patrick's Day and Basketball. This March the feelings are a little bit different on the basketball end but hey, what can you do. I still love my Buckeyes even though they aren't really showing that we can be a basketball school this year.

As always this was made with my Cricut and a simple picture frame. Nothing complicated about it! Hope you all have a wonderful March!

Wreath made with my new Explore!!

My awesome new Cricut Explore came this weekend and I have been putting it to the test. Here is a fun little butterfly wreath I made. This new machine cut these tiny little pieces with no issues at all. I used butterflies from every cartridge I could. That's the other great thing, with Design Space I just put in whatever I am looking for and it will show me all images available that meet that criteria. I cannot wait to see what else this machine can do!

Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their weekend!
